In the early 2000s, men like John Piper and Mark Driscoll brought reformed theology to the center stage and American Christianity has been hurting under the weight of it ever since.
While I personally reject the theology, I think the impact of that movement, no matter what you believe, hurts us all. Tickling the ears of men desperate for power, the young, restless, and reformed movement grew up and has left us with christian leaders who look nothing like Christ.
